I was born in the year 1970 in Ketkipada. My father Late Sobhanath Gupta used to work in a mill and mother was a housewife.
I have 3 elder sisters and 1 younger brother.
Being born in a poor family, his family faced many difficulties. Many times there was no food and clothes to wear in the house. I also did my studies in the nearest municipal school. There was a time when my father was paralyzed in 1985, after which I had to put aside my studies and work odd jobs to support the family.
I could not study further but to help the children who study or want to study, started the program of providing education to the children by running free tuition through Janani Manav Seva Trust along with their friends and even today, we provide notebook, book, pencil to the needy children. To encourage the children to study, we organize many programs.
Like this, meeting respective area’s representatives regarding the problems of that department, consult the senior residents, participate in the agitation, and convey the voice of the people from the court to the government employees.
But when we do the work of people's needs, we need some platform or people's representatives sitting in power and the party, in this order, in 1999, we got the appointment of the president of the youth congress ward and tirelessly worked to create an army of karykartas in that ward, organize programs in the ward, connect people, By doing work, I enjoyed serving the people. Played an important role in winning the Congress party's candidate in the 2002 Municipal Corporation elections. After that I served as Block Secretary, North Mumbai District Secretary, President of Congress Trade Union Mumbai.
With our karykartas, did all the campaigning for all the candidates in the Lok Sabha election and helped to reach their voices from door to door in Magathane of Dahisar Borivali and North Mumbai.
The organization was established in the year 2012. 'Janani Manav Seva Trust' was founded by one purpose that everyone whether they are activists or heads of any caste-religion, political party, can take benefit from us, we can serve people, people can meet us, reach us without hesitation. Under the Janani Manav Seva Trust, we take free computer classes for everyone, distribute grain to needy, and widow women, timely distribution of books to children, and provide best medical facilities for everyone.
At Janani Manav Seva Trust, we believe that if there is any one best charity, it is blood donation. Twice a year the trust organizes a large scale blood donation camp. In which residents also participate in this blood donation camp and lend their support to save someone's life. Whenever the need arises in Mumbai, people from Janani Manav Seva Trust come forward and organize camps.
Through Janani Manav Seva Sansthan, we have helped many cancer sufferers, have done free operation for cataract sufferers. We have always been at the forefront of women empowerment. My thoughts are that 'when you make a woman self-reliant, you go on making the country self-reliant'. To empower women, many programs are taken in Dahisar, in which women are trained to do self-employment, in which sewing, beautician course, cake making etc. are taught. To encourage women empowerment, we help them to get business loan to start their business through government policies and have provided sewing machines and tool kits to more than 600 women.
Janani Manav Seva Trust tries to help people from time to time. Under which free accident policy is also given to the rickshaw drivers of Mumbai.
Any rickshaw puller can become a member of Janani Manav Trust by giving his Aadhar card, license batch, light bill and a free accidental scheme of Rs 2,00,000 (two lakh) can take advantage of.
